If you read the textbooks, stress is the end point of a long and harmful
process. There's alarm, resistance and exhaustion, and someone who gets to
the last stage is in a bad way...
But i've often found that some highly stressed
people recover overnight (or even sooner) once the key issue is dealt
with. We shouldn't be too quick to put a theory onto a person, it
doesn't always fit!
The one day stress resolution is my attempt at
describing the interventions that I do.
